Entry: Pre-RHAPtor days Monday, December 17, 2007

He was just an ordinary 17 yr old back in 2003...just ur normal high skool student who cycled to and 4rom skool 4rom mon-sat during the skooling season.

He wasn't a well known student in the whole skool. He was only well known in his batch...for his skool rule outlawed hairstyle and way of wearing his uniform. He was active in co-curricular activiteis. In all his 5 yrs of high skool, he joined St John's Ambulance, taekwondo, badminton club, bowling club. computer club, KH club and English Language Society

He played in some badminton, football and bowling tournaments but THERE WAS NO BASKETBALL a.k.a bball IN HIS LIFE THEN.

Early one morn in 2003, he decided to join his frens for some bball. His frens played bball almost every morning for about 45 mins b4 skool started. He wasn't the same ever since as he fell in love with the sport and discovered some talents in it thru' the encouragement of his frens.

BACK then:

  • He was a shooting guard, roaming the edge of the 3p area, ONLY intercepting passes, passing to his team mates and rarely attempted a shot.
  • He soon moved inner into the area after finding himself deadly in the free throw area during training, and was soon scoring regularly 4rom that area/range, besides the 3p range.
  • He was the secret weapon of the team.
  • He was a defensive player.

In 2004 and 2005:

  • He became more offensive.
  • He was all over the court shooting 4rom all possible ranges/points/spots, resulting in lots more scoring.
  • No longer a secret weapon as opponents soon came to recognise his abilities and impact.

Since 2006:

  • He is a centre, lurking and waiting to pounce almost underneath the rim/hoop, and the free throw area/range.
  • He is a balanced player now...defending and attacking adequately.
  • If he plays on HOME soil, he is more defensive and dictates play 95%
  • If he plays on AWAY soil, he is more offensive and dictates play 80%
  • He lost his sharpness 4rom Mar'07-Oct'07
  • He was sidelined bcoz of many injuries...most of them recurring ones
  • He is now back to full sharpness since mid Nov'07 with a scoring rate of 98%

I think u all know who m I talking about now, huh? =p
